a little rant... With midterm elections underway and candidates fiercely campaigning, some things they say are becoming troublesome to me. Economic development, economic development, economic development!!! We will attract more businesses, more investors, more people, more jobs! Imagine a world where the residents of the state and/or citizens of the country organically created jobs as needed? What if things just happened naturally instead of by brute force geared towards special interests and investors? What if people who wanted to live in Los Angeles lived in Los Angeles instead of trying to turn every city and state in the country into what resembles a third world mess? Imagine leadership not creating more homelessness and violence because of THEIR greed. It is interesting to note, these same people who abhor and want to change our local cultures are the very same people demanding tolerance of others and they cultures? Isn't it hypocritical to demand change of not only our culture, but our infrastructure and economy? Their main goal is to actually destroy our culture and homogenize it into what they perceive we should be. It needs to be considered that these instigators are often foreign born or first generation born to foreigners who did not come here to help create a better America like our ancestors, but to take something. They are here for their own enrichment only. Any destruction or death is just collateral damage on their path to wealth and power and fame. The UN "sustainable development goals" and "sustainable anything" is not about sustainability at all. It is an agenda to pasteurize communities and create a world wide identical replica of what THEY deem acceptable. And the only thing acceptable is them in charge and in control of everything. You (we) are being inventoried and bartered and sold for their financial benefit. How sad and pathetic is that really? If they really wanted sustainability, they would ditch their private jets, use public transportation, stop traveling, stop importing special goods from other countries, and start hiring and shopping locally. Instead of tearing up farm land for "smart" cities, they would encourage more planting. (Which also has to make us wonder, if they are predicting 4 billion more people and a massive food shortage by 2025, then why on earth are they destroying farmland to build resort dams in Texas? -- Bill Gates) It is very difficult to take these people seriously when they can not get their stories straight. The best weapon for a means to their end is identity politics. Racism and skin color. Self victimization will insure the proper anger to create a passionate division between the perceived haves and have-nots. Conveniently, the actual HAVES, billionaires and big company CEO's, have convinced everyone the middle class who is actually struggling to stay even are the haves. At the same time, they paint themselves as the saviors of the Have-Nots. It really is quite the scam. Meanwhile - people, churches, physicians, hospitals, universities, CEOs, etc, are stomping on the middle class in order to get ahead. They are killing the middle class in their pursuit of fortune and fame. The poor wonder why they never get ahead while continuing to believe the rich HAVES actually are trying to help them. The HAVES are taking from the middle class to line their own pockets while also taxing them into oblivion for benefits for foreigners and other special interests. The people living in poverty really do not get much added benefit from increased taxes on the middle class. Before I check out for the day, let me give an example of what I mean.
University/college tuition. If you rummage around a bit, you will see that a lot of "retired" politicians move on to work at schools. Not as teachers. They take positions that allow them to network and do fundraising or research, etc. They are specifically sought because of their ability to do fundraising. Like millions of dollars in fundraising. Their salaries often look reasonable. But find out how much of a cut of the fundraising they pocket. One would think that with all of their fundraising prowess and the millions they are able to generate, tuition rates would go DOWN instead of skyrocketing. Yet here we are. Tuition is out of control. Isn't it time to end the charade of the middle class being the problem? Isn't it time to place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the people creating the problems? Isn't it time to start electing responsible leadership? Isn't the idea they keep spewing ideas of bigger, better, more, ...simply as sign of people who are not and never will be happy with what we/they have? A sign they will never be happy until they have it all and a little bit more? Comments are closed.
