Secretary Clinton Addresses Istanbul Process for Combating Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief
Just a little bit of irony, but look at what the press, etc, need in order to enter....identification! Identification required to ask questions, but not for voting?? "Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport)."
From Resolution to Realization – How to Promote Effective Implementation of the HRC Res 16/18
"A broad range of stakeholders are presently attending the meeting, including academics, legal experts, civil society actors and representatives from relevant UN bodies, the European Union, NGOs, interfaith organizations, the Vatican and UN Member States."
Hillary Clinton signed the agreement (Resolution 16/18) for blasphemy law. Some will argue that she struck certain wording that would disregard the punishment for saying anything bad about Islam, but recall the Obama administration beginning to implement hate speech laws after the San Bernadino incident? A resolution that combats religious intolerance signed with Islamic countries. The intent is clear. Consequently, islamophobia became the identity politics tool of the moment around that time as well.
Do you also recall Obama giving a UN speech saying that we will necessarily give up some of our freedoms and binding ourselves to INTERNATIONAL rules? Can you imagine what would have happened if Hillary had won the election?
