Read my lips...tech giants and their investors do not give a shit about you, your family, or your country. Period. And that includes all of the planet. And, make no mistake, they will do whatever it takes to get more of whatever it is they want.
The greedy elite rely on the fact that if they do a couple of seemingly charitable (on the surface) things that people will not pay attention to the atrocities they are actively creating and promoting. They can rely on the majority of the population to remain naive and to praise them, regardless that they are filthy heathens.
Big companies (tech, meat slaughter, coastal "farmers", manufacturing....) care about one thing. More. They want more. And they compete with each other to see who can acquire the most "more".
There are a few ways to acquire "more" quickly. Buy stock. But not hoping it goes up. Buy stock in a way that you make money when the stock drops. Then do everything in your power (hire protestors, help bring lawsuits against them, pay them to fail, whatever it takes) to help them fail. Then sit back and reap the rewards of engineered failure. (Soros, Buffett)
Another way is to spend less. You need the best employees, but that costs you money. That means less "more". Those pesky employees that want salaries.
What to do, what to do?
Genius idea!! Hire the really good employee, let them finish the project, then bring in cheap replacements to babysit the project and make the good employee train their replacements in order to retain their severance benefits. Brilliant! Foreigners will work for nearly nothing ($20,000 per year is a very comfortable middle class income in many countries) and not complain and risk getting sent back to their country. (This is "progressive" slave labor. The left's idea of a good time. Coincidentally, there are plenty of Visa programs, illegal aliens, and "refugees" to fill this need for them. And plenty of human traffickers happy to help them fill those needs.)
Oh no, now it seems that even the slave labor wages are to great a burden for these behemoths to bear! They just can not seem to get "more" fast enough! Replace them with robots! We can tell them it is a good thing because now they are released from the drudgery of that repetitive job task. Now, they are free to sweep floors or answer phones for half the wages instead. You can thank them for the considerable kindness right after you pack your box and vacate your work station.
Wait! Why stop there? We can make the taxpayers pay for part of the labor, too! And convince them to grant us money for buildings and also get low/no taxes! Happy days ahead! If that is not enough, some states let those companies collect the state income tax and then.....keep it! (I really wish I was joking, but that is true. Billions of dollars true, in fact. So sad. )

The fact is, the greedy swine are quickly finding employees useless to them. The irony is that that without those employees, the technology used to replace them would not exist.
Actually, the "more syndrome" is human nature. 140 mph trains are not fast enough. We need to spend 5 billion dollars to have it go 190 mph. Bigger, better, faster! More travel, more pay, more vacation, less work, less responsibility....but more stuff!!! So, yes, all of humanity has a bit of a problem. It is just that the uber greedy have something akin to a mental and emotional illness regarding the "more syndrome".
The world is at the edge of , well, something. Something unsavory. It is being fueled by big business, big tech, big pharma, big investment, big government, insurance companies, hospitals, the Department of Education, and general laziness and trained dependence on welfare programs. Small communities are being forced to close down small businesses as big companies lobby to regulate them out of existence. People are being manipulated into buying cheap, low quality stuff designed with planned obsolescence. Ever ask yourself why old refrigerators lasted for 40 years and new and improved refrigerators are lucky to last 10 years? Suspicious?
In any case, the day of reckoning seems to be around the corner. This article from Technology Review paints a grim picture. One where massive job loss and poverty lie ahead. I know it is difficult to muster up sympathy for people who have contributed to job loss and wage lowering only to have it also happen to them, but it is still worth reading and knowing about what is happening. Take a moment to review this article.
This is the sort of poverty that will be "felt around the world".
While people push for higher wages and executives get paid untold millions, the cost of goods sold and the cost of living goes up with it. What about hitting this nail with a different mallet? Maybe wages that are a bit lower and profits that are not obscene? Maybe it is time for the price of pretty much everything to correct back down to sane levels. Of course, that would mean that mom and pop shops would need to spring up and pull the rug out from under the industry giants.
To combat the potential abuse of deregulating the internet (ending the farce called net neutrality), young tech entrepeneurs in rural areas will need to help build up rural internet access and offer competition to those greedy companies. The internet ran perfectly fine prior to 2015. Remember that? When internet services sprang up like weeds everywhere you looked. Now, that growth is reserved for the obscenely rich.
Are people mentally and emotionally strong enough to go down that road? Can they support their local communities and learn to be happy with who they are and where they live without having to have it all? Do they even remember what a real community is?
We need to reopen those real community centers where the retired, the young, and the working age people all come together to celebrate each other and their community. Stop giving your hard earned money to all of the fake charities. How many hundreds of millions have gone to get clean water in impoverished areas of Africa, yet after 25 years they still have no clean water? But the charity owners seem to drive nice vehicles and live in nice houses. Instead, invest your money in your own community and in yourself and your neighbors.
This is MAGA. And when America is healthy and strong, we help others to be healthy and strong, too.
Oh yes, Merry Christmas!

Another note...South Dakota Together is not hosting, and will not be hosting speakers. There are some "journalists" who need to check their facts before spewing misinformation once again. We are an entity that allows other organizations a platform that they would otherwise be denied. We will continue to post events when we are asked to. We also offer the ability for them to quickly reorganize when people like Taneeza or Naomi try to get them shut down.
edit: Looking at our referring sites, we notice that there is a possibility of some down time for the site while the toddlers on the left work through their tantrum. If you come back to the site and have difficulty loading it, be patient. We'll be back. Hopefully that won't become an issue. Just a head's up. Better to be prepared and let people know in advance. CAIR and SPLC have to have their moment of glory you know.
Meh. Temporary setback and waste of resources for them. Boring. Our network is run mostly offline and across multiple states. Silence a site? Sure. Silence a nation? Not this one.
Local, State, Federal politicians are finally working harder than we have ever seen them work before. But not for us.
Grab your beverage of choice and a snack. This is going to be a long one.
Do you remember a single instant in your lifetime that politicians have buckled down and focused all of their energy on solving issues? Neither do I.
At last, as if the heavens have parted and the angels are singing, they are working and burning the midnight oil. They swear to move mountains and part oceans to attain their goals. Unfortunately, the things they are focusing their energy on has nothing to do with you or me. It has to do with people who are not citizens of this country, cronies, and big national and foreign companies/investors.
Let's take this apart and look at it in simpler pieces.
Big national and international companies and investors.
It is no secret that big companies are rampantly abusing the visa system. To be fair, after laying off thousands of employees and forcing them to train their foreign replacements, US graduates probably shun them. As they should. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Yes, you are seeing those wages correctly. The left really does not want to pay you are your kids, do they? Their compassion suddenly seems suspect, doesn't it?
Currently, Amazon is looking for a second location for its headquarters. They promise to bring up to 50,000 jobs. (Don't be impressed, if Aberdeen is any indication of what those jobs mean, it is that they can move 50,000 people to your town to change its culture and voting demographics. They don't hire locals. That is the catch.) What is massively disappointing is the way that politicians court this and how they abuse any human to get what they want. This is where refugee and illegal alien human trafficking enters the picture. They get WOTC benefits and other tax benefits that can equal up to about half the salary of qualified employees. But there is a time limit for that employee to be eligible. And they have to be here legally. (aka refugees) Therefore, they churn employees between companies from town to town, state to state. Whatever it takes to have taxpayers pay for their businesses and labor. Meanwhile, small local businesses struggle to compete with them.
We elect politicians because we want that person to represent OUR voices to other politicians and organizations. They run for office because they are activists with an agenda of their own and do not give two hoots about what residents of local and state communities want or need. It is themselves, foreigners, and felons, first.
Here, let me show you an example that is currently in play. Even the Canadians are watching what is going on - this reference comes from the Canadian Free Press. (It is in other sources, but I like to give a shout out to different places once in awhile. So here is a shout out to our neighbors to the north. Go Canada!)
What is happening in Georgia......................(lots of extra little dots cuz that drives liberals mad)............
Blood, Sweat, and Tears for non-citizens
Knowing how fervently our leaders work for non-citizens and big money, we need to be suspicious of their lust for the preservation of Obamacare. Since we know they don't lift a finger for us, then why do they have an almost indecent passion for Obamacare? And why are the illegal aliens fighting so hard for it? We were told illegal aliens won't be eligible for Obamacare. Right?
Remember when Obama and others said that illegals won't qualify for Obamacare? That was another sleight of hand politically. He circumvented laws by using special statuses for his golden children. It is all in the definitions and who is making them. Here are some non-citizen statuses that qualify for Obamacare. (We asked the wrong question when we asked about illegals, we should have used the term non-citizens. Our mistake. --insert eye roll)
What does “Qualified Non-Citizen Mean?
The term “qualified non-citizen” includes:
People with the following statuses and who have employment authorization qualify for the Marketplace:
What are the last five? Here are some quick searches...
As you can see, there are a number of ways to skirt the system and get coverage as an illegal and certainly as a non-citizen. The concern with the non-citizen qualifications is because in order to sponsor refugees and visa employees, the sponsor is supposed to be footing that bill, not the tax payers. The diversity visa that was bringing in about 45,000 random unvetted people a year also contributed to the ability to game the system.
We have noticed a significant increase in our online traffic over the last few days. It is unclear what is driving that increase. We are assuming there are people who are new to this whole current political corruption circus that has taken hold systemically and are trying to sort it out. We will try to shift a bit to provide some data that will hopefully help readers catch up at least on a local and state level. We will also begin to develop a list of resources that will be helpful.
In the meantime, stay Deplorable and continue to fight the good fight. Freedom and liberty are neither free nor easy. We must work diligently to preserve what our ancestors fought for. In many ways, the US is the last bastion of safety for the truly persecuted. It is time to sort out the persecuted and the persecutors and keep the persecutors on the other side of the borders away from the ones we promised to shelter.
South Dakota Together is a pro-Constitution, pro-South Dakota network. We offer a platform for those who others are working to silence. While we do not host speakers or events ourselves, we do share the information that others have given to us so that others may keep up with their events and issues.
