Neal Tapio provides a strong voice for South Dakota. He is not afraid of criticism and tackles tough issues without hesitation. He will get in the ring and swing back. He remains transparent and welcomes questions and open discussions. Neal has lived the same life that most of us have. He has had to overcome economic and career hurdles like normal people do. Neal recognizes the role of an elected official is to listen to and be the voice and champion of those people. He is equally upset with swamp politicians who have turned their backs on the people and country that trusted them. Neal Tapio wants to be a truly local voice and fighter for people of this state and this country.
If you are still on the fence about who to vote for, I encourage you to reach out to Neal and talk to him personally. You will find the attacks on him by media are completely unfounded. We have selected three important interviews with Neal for you to listen to on the right side column of this page. Take an hour to listen and get to know him better before you go to that voting booth. And do not forget to go vote! |

Not interested in election integrity
June 2017 request for voter rolls On June 29, 2017, the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, which had been created by President Donald Trump on May 11, requested information on registered voters from all 50 states dating back to 2006. The states were given until July 14 to respond. On June 30, Secretary Krebs announced that the state would refuse to provide the requested information to the commission. ballotpedia.org/Shantel_Krebs Today Shantel Krebs claims to be a candidate who will support Trump, but she did not even try to help him do something as important as combat voter fraud. Smells a bit swampy. Many on the left will argue privacy issues and the voter commission would have been a privacy issue. Please, come back to me with that argument AFTER YOU ARGUE FOR THE PRIVACY VIOLATIONS AGAINST YOUR CURRENT SITTING PRESIDENT AND THE PRIVATE CITIZENS AROUND HIM. Please come back to me with that argument AFTER YOU EXPLAIN WHY IT IS/WAS OK FOR THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION AND CLINTON CAMPAIGN TO USE PUBLIC FUNDS TO SPY ON PRIVATE CITIZENS. The good for me but not for thee, and applies to you but not to me BS is wearing thin. |
Shantel Krebs may be a nice person outside of politics. I have never met her so can not speak to that. However, she claims to understand the needs and hurdles of farmers of this state and yet in all the years she has had the position to speak up for and help them, has she?
What has she done other than receive a paycheck and protect her job? (Fighting for tourism has nothing to do with rural farmers.) Now she gets it wrong again by trying to coat tail on Donald Trump's election. Not only did she not support Trump during the 2016 election, she did not support him after he was inaugurated. Now she thinks that people will cast a vote for her because she claims to have suddenly aligned herself with Trump. This is where she gets it wrong. People voted for Trump because he was/is willing to dive head first into the fray and take risks. Because he presented himself as a true voice for and with the citizens of this country. Coat tails do not work if you are not authentic. Shantel Krebs has more than enough years to help farmers and the people of South Dakota, yet here we are. She simply went along with the flow and drifted along happily with the swamp while collecting a tax payer funded paycheck. Because of this, I believe Ms. Krebs needs a time out to think about what the role of a politician is supposed to be. This is not the time for her. Maybe she can get it right in a future election, but I am not holding my breath. It is simply time to sweep away the past and replace it with representatives who mean what they say and will actually fight for us. She does not have what it takes to fight for the people of South Dakota. She is either in agreement with the swamp or out-maneuvered and out-slimed in the swamp. |
Already working for and with the swamp.
Claims to be pro South Dakota while utilizing out of state entities for his campaign.
Nope. Not having it. I have actually met Dusty on more than one occasion. He is personable enough and probably likable enough outside of business. But he is also the perfect candidate for California.
Here is a person who is already heavily chained to the likes of Daugaard and Jackley and Rounds (Jeff Zuckerburg visited Jackley's in-laws when he was in the state. What more do you need to know about Jackley? SWAMP.) What's more is his claim that he is all about South Dakota and will stand up for us. Here is where I begin to seriously doubt his sincerity. You only need to scan his campaign finance report to see many of his supporters are the very elements of the swamp we are railing against. Big business, big medical facilities and people, and out-of-staters. Apparently, the lowly people of South Dakota are not even good enough to be considered for small things regarding his campaign. Paying out of state people and companies while crowing about how you do and will support our state seems more than a little bit disingenuous. Here are a couple of screen captures of some of the payments I am referring to (see right column for full report): |
