Another Aberdeen higher education employee complains about freedom of speech while profiting from immigration
Naomi Ludeman Smith. She came from Minnesota to Aberdeen in 2015 to work for Northern State University. You would think with all of the great local talent they could hire someone from this state to work in our schools. Feels as though they discriminate against local graduates. No wonder local kids have to move away. The very places that we fund year in and year out are not even trying to hire local people. After a year, she left NSU and went to Presentation College. Apparently neither place feels like local graduates are good enough for them.
(Until these places begin behaving like they are part of the community, they should not expect to be treated as part of the community. It may be time for the community to let them hang for awhile and keep their cash in their pockets for safe keeping.)
Naomi has spent her life making a living off of immigration. It is her career. Does anyone else think it is a coincidence that the people most offended by differing opinions on this matter are the ones who stand to profit from it?
Naomi is the catalyst of the discussion today. This new community member has moved in and proceeded to tell the rest of the community how to be. Priceless.
In today's paper you can see her fretting about her concern that people have freedom of speech and freedom to assemble. How can it be? The injustice!
It is not clear what the actual point of the article is supposed to be. It is a bit of a “lots of voices in my head telling me to write multiple things” sort of article without a clear purpose. The best that I can gather is that the local morality police are using the newspaper as their daily squealer.
After reading the article, it occurs to me that sharia is after all compatible with the innate gossip mongering that exists just by human nature. In Muslim countries they quickly call the sharia patrol whenever a Christian commits a serious offense. You know, the REALLY serious offenses. Like drinking from a cup that Muslims drink out of. (https://www.facebook.com/Save-Asia-Bibi-Petition-154908417886823/) Which, by the way, is what Taneeza Islam has implemented right in our own state. She has literally put out that if you are offended or concerned, to call this whatever number. Our very own morality police and patrol in South Dakota. Oh, goodie.
The takeaway from the article is apparently that Aberdeen is not political and they are striving to be inclusive. (Stop laughing. Really.) Those in the know are aware of just how demonically political Aberdeen actually is. Our politicians are treasonous thieves in suits. And if they are so hell bent on inclusiveness, why are they working day and night and convening multiple anti-inclusive coalitions and task forces to shut down voices they dislike? Is it just me, or does that seem like it is the opposite of inclusive? And shuttering freedom of speech is suspiciously political. It is political violence really. (FYI, violence does not have to be physical. It can be mental, emotional, economic, and even political.)
Naomi and her compassion crew are concerned about the speakers coming to town and using city facilities. However, she is completely baffled why community members are concerned about barely-vetted foreigners coming to town and using city, state, and federal funds to live. Not to mention the outside investors using state grants to build their expensive buildings to hire out of state labor and get up to 50% of their wages paid for through the WOTC program. I would bet a lot of money if the guests that Naomi & crew brought to Aberdeen to were to simply use a city owned building for 3 or 4 hours and then leave that there would not be a peep from anyone. Truth be told, what is really raising people's ire is the underhanded way that city officials and others are proceeding with this. Overall, rural America is inclusive and compassionate. But they are not stupid. They know deceit and manipulation when they see it.
At the end of the article, the very last sentence, you can see their narrative. Like trying to get US voters to believe that illegal aliens are immigrants, they want you to start calling temporary non-citizens New Americans to begin reprogramming you to believe that they are legal citizens. It is a political sleight of hand. It slowly normalizes their narrative in preparation for another mass amnesty/citizenship program. It makes them feel like they have yet another way to assassinate your character by arguing that you are against citizens. They are not citizens. They are temporary guests of this country. Our tax dollars pay for it and we have a voice in it, too. (By the way, the last sentence says ,"working to help new citizens, especially those from other countries." --- Is there such a thing as a new citizen that does not come from a different country? Where else do new citizens come from if not other countries? Cities and states have legal residents. We receive new residents who may or may not be citizens. I know it is a difficult concept to comprehend for the uber educated. )
This abuse of the refugee program to provide a back door to citizenship while legitimate applicants wait in line, is corruption. It is called an “imported electorate”. It is also being used as a government approved and funded form of human trafficking for cheap labor. It also saves big business big money because they do not have to be responsible for the costs of sponsoring employee visas. Instead, the tax payers foot yet another expense for the corrupt elite.
As far as I can tell, the left has a reality problem. They really do think that if you say something five times it becomes truth.
Let me just leave it at that and leave the article and Naomi's profile below so you can review the information yourself. There is a lot of information to absorb for those new to the show. A good start would be to flaunt your position by attending tomorrow's speakers. There is going to be a very special surprise speaker there that will touch your heart and make you angry at the same time. Don't worry about feeling awkward, most people there are truly Deplorable and completely inclusive, unlike the faux inclusiveness of the left. Everyone is welcome. For real.
***Quick summary: the speakers coming to Aberdeen tomorrow were shut down in Sioux Falls at the last minute by the compassionate, inclusive, non-political left. Naomi, whose career and income revolves around multiculturalism, is upset that she can not stop them from presenting in Aberdeen this weekend.
